Mom will rise as a hostile zombie if she dies by slipping in the kitchen, or at Tabby's hands.

Back from the Dead: Any family members who die will revive as undead and become a threat.

Androcles' Lion: If you feed the giant rat a sandwich, it will stop attacking you В— and the mere existence of a non-lethal option in the first place means the rat is, by a large stretch, the friendliest creature in the game.

It's also useless against most monsters, as they'll kill Tabby before she can kill them (the Zombie Cat being the only exception Tabby can kill it with the axe if she can get the jump on it.) You can also use it to murder your family. It can be used to break certain objects, but will break itself once used three times.

An Axe to Grind: One of the first, and most useful, tools Tabby can get is an axe.

There are also two secret diary entries that can only be obtained past this point. This lets you look for more things you might have missed.

All Just a Dream: How the game justifies continued play past the true ending it's just a nightmare Tabby is having.

The monster in the fridge will eventually eat her if she's left like this.

Alcoholic Parent: If she doesn't slip and die, the mom will sit at the dinner table and drink wine until she passes out.

Acid Attack: Daddy's severed head throws you acidic blood as its killing move, dissolving Tabby to the bone.

Since I had some experience with developing and designing websites I decided that HTML would be the right technology to start with. CSS is responsible for graphic and JS for all the rest (DOM animations, interactions, saving game state). Every room, roughly speaking, has simple markup in HTML which defines items (such as table, window, etc.) and click areas. The game is made using HTML, CSS (Less) and JS (depends strongly on jQuery). I'm still far from calling myself 'pro JS dev' but I've got siginficantly closer. Thanks to this game my skills have developed tremendously.
